Welcome to Our Coffee Experience!
Ready to go on a journey from bean to cup? Join us for an unforgettable four-hour experience where you’ll explore the world of specialty coffee right here at our farm.
Welcome & Introduction
We’ll start with a warm welcome and a quick chat about the fascinating world of coffee. You’ll learn about the two main types of coffee cultivated around the world and about the Coffee Regios here in Costa Rica, Arabica and Robusta, and discover what makes each one unique.
From Green to Roasted
Next, we’ll dive into the magic of roasting. Watch as we transform raw, green beans into the aromatic coffee you love. We’ll show you how different roast levels, from light to dark, change the flavor. Then, we’ll lead you in a fun and interactive cupping (tasting session) where you’ll learn to identify a coffee’s unique aroma, acidity, and body, just like the professionals.
Talk About Coffee Plants
Take a walk with us through our very own coffee garden. We’ll show you the coffee plants up close and explain cool facts about them. This is garden for teaching purposes not a coffee plantation.
Lunch Break
Time to relax and refuel! We’ve scheduled 40 minutes for you to enjoy a delicious lunch and give your palate a well-deserved break before we move on to our final coffee adventure.
Espresso & Latte Art
After lunch, it’s your turn to get behind the machine! We’ll show you how to pull the perfect espresso shot and steam milk to a creamy, velvety texture.
You’ll learn the secrets of latte art and practice making beautiful shapes. It’s a hands-on session, so be ready to create and impress!
Q&A and Departure
Before you leave, we’ll wrap up with a final Q&A session. Feel free to ask any remaining questions, take some photos, and share your experience with us. We’ll make sure you leave with great memories and a new appreciation for every cup you drink.
