Jungle Night Tour
Discover the rainforest after dark.
Follow your guide into the forest and uncover the wildlife that is easy to miss by day. Look for tree frogs, lizards, insects, spiders and snakes, with the chance to spot nocturnal mammals and resting birds along the way.
With flashlights provided, your guide helps you spot hidden creatures and explains their habits and role in the forest. Pause to listen to the calls, rustles and rhythms of the tropical night—a different side of Costa Rica.
Note: This tour takes place in a private wildlife refuge just outside Manuel Antonio National Park, near its boundaries—not inside the national park. Explore this forest habitat on an approximately two-hour guided night walk.
Wildlife sightings vary each night. Stay with your guide, observe animals without touching them, and enjoy the forest at its own pace.
